The Polska Partia Pracy (Polish Labor Party, PPP for short ) is a political party in Poland that calls itself socialist .

It was launched on November 11, 2001 as the “Alternative Labor Party” and was given its current name in 2004. The party is affiliated with the Confederation - Free Trade Union “August 1980” .

The party is against the privatization of state-owned companies and supports higher government spending as a result of post-communist reforms. She opposes Poland's inclusion in the EU . It supports increased cooperation with Poland's eastern neighbors, free education and health care , clearance (government-funded) contraception and abortion , recognition of same-sex marriages , the withdrawal of Poland's troops from Iraq , the abolition of conscription and the establishment of a professional army and the introduction of the 35-hour week . She turned against the so-called flat tax tax and the death penalty . She advocates a withdrawal of the Polish state from the Concordat with the Catholic Church.

The party's candidate for the 2005 presidential election, Daniel Podrzycki , died in a car accident on September 24, 2005, the day before the general election. In the 2005 election, the party received 0.77% of the vote. Even in the 2007 elections, the party did not succeed in entering the Sejm, as the PPP failed with 1.0% of the vote because of the 5 percent clause.
