Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne ( PSE ) (German: Polish Elektroenergetische Netze) is a Polish transmission system operator with headquarters in Konstancin-Jeziorna .

PSE operates as a state-owned electricity network operator in Poland . The company is 100% state owned under the control of the Ministry of State Assets . The role of the general assembly is taken over by the minister of economy. PSE acts as a holding company , each with 100% participation in five regional companies (PSE-Centrum SA, PSE-Północ SA, PSE-Południe SA, PSE-Wschód SA, PSE-Zachód SA). Further 100% subsidiaries are

  • PSE Inwestycje SA (investment advice and investment preparation for the group of companies)
  • Zarządca Rozliczeń SA
  • PSE Innowacje Sp. Z oo (IT and technology services for the group of companies)

There are also holdings in LitPol Link Sp. Z oo / (50%, interconnection of the Lithuanian and Polish power grids using 400 kV high-voltage lines) and CAO Central Allocation Office GmbH (12.5%, cross-border auctions on the electricity market in Central and Eastern Europe) and Eastern Europe).

Until 2007, PSE was part of Grupa PSE (today: Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE)), but has no longer belonged to the latter group since the separation of energy trading and transmission network operation. As part of this restructuring, the Polish Ministry of State Assets also incorporated the BOT group into PGE in 2007, as did the Dolna Odra power plant group and eight distribution companies .
