Ministry of State Assets

The Ministry of State Assets (Polish Ministerstwo Skarbu Państwa , German literally Ministry for the Treasury of the State ) was one of the ministries of the Third Republic of Poland . The seat of the ministry was in the state capital Warsaw .

The Ministry emerged on October 1, 1996 from the Ministerstwo Przekształceń Własnościowych (German Ministry of Property Conversion or Ministry of Privatization ). The dissolution took place on December 31, 2016.

tasks

The Ministry's tasks included;

  • supervision of state assets, including mining companies such as Katowicki Holding Węglowy
  • Representation of state interests related to state property
  • Preparation and implementation of privatizations
  • Development of privatization opportunities
  • Preparation of laws affecting state property

The ministry was still required to submit an annual report on the status of privatizations.
