PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA ( PGE ; German Polish Energy Group ) is a listed Polish energy group based in Warsaw . The company's shares have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since December 2009 . It is listed in the WIG30 index.

In 2009 the company management announced that it would build two nuclear power plants in Poland. In 2018 it was announced that the company had decided to largely withdraw from the nuclear power plant planning. Instead, the company wants to focus more on offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea. The company was involved in the Lithuanian Visaginas nuclear power plant until the end of 2011 .
