Poltergeist in Six Flags Fiesta Texas ( San Antonio , Texas , USA ) is a steel roller coaster model LIM Catapult Coaster manufactured by Premier Rides , which opened on May 28, 1999.
Poltergeist is one of four roller coasters of this model made by the manufacturer in the USA. It opened the same year as The Joker's Jinx in sister park Six Flags America and three years after the first roller coaster of its type: Flight of Fear in Kings Dominion and Kings Island . Between 1998 and 2003 there was also a roller coaster of this model on the Suzuka Circuit in Japan , but this was then transferred to the Kingdoms of Discovery in China . Apart from the two systems in Kings Dominion and Kings Island, Poltergeist is identical to the other systems of this model.
Trains
Poltergeist owns two trains with six cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Poltergeist initially owned shoulder straps. For the 2002 season, these bars were replaced by lap bars. Individually locking lap bars are used as a restraint system.
