Poly Panou ( Greek Πόλυ Πάνου , bourgeois Polytimi Koliopanou Πολυτίμη Κολιοπάνου, born October 28, 1940 in Athens , grew up in Patra ; † September 27, 2013 in Athens), was a Greek folk singer. Her stage name is an abbreviation of her actual name Polytimi Koliopanou and was given to her by the singer Grigoris Bithikotsis .

She began in the style of rebetiko in the late 1950s and peaked in her career in the 1960s and 1970s. She worked with the Laïka composers Vasilis Tsitsanis and Giannis Papaioannou and founded her own record label in 1966. Three years later she performed in Paris.

The greatest successes of this time include:

Τα παιδιά του Πειραιά The boys of Piraeus (known from the film Sundays ... never! )
Μες στην πολλή σκοτούρα μου In the midst of all of my worries
Φέρτε μια κούπα με κρασί Bring me a cup of wine
Σβήσε το φως να κοιμηθούμε Turn off the lights so we can sleep
Πάρε το δαχτυλίδι μου Take my ring
Καυγαδάκι The quarrel
Αλλα μου λεν τα μάτια σου Your eyes tell me one thing
Εσένα δε σου άξιζε αγάπη You don't deserve to be loved
Τα αδέλφια δε χωρίζουνε Brothers don't argue
Ασε πρώτα να ξεχάσω First let me forget
