Polycaste (daughter of Lygaios)

Polycaste ( Greek Πολυκάστη ) is a person of Greek mythology .

She is the daughter of Lygaius from Akarnania and becomes the wife of Ikarios when he is expelled from Sparta and then settles in Akarnania. With this she is the mother of Penelope and the two sons Alyzeus and Leukadios .
