Polymers is an international, peer-reviewed, scientific open access journal of polymer science ( polymer chemistry , polymer physics ) that has been published since 2009 and is available to the reader free of charge in accordance with the principles of open access without hurdles beyond mere internet access . The magazine appears monthly. Polymers is an interdisciplinary forum for the publication of manuscripts that have the potential to advance the following areas:
