Polynesia Cup 1998
The Polynesia Cup 1998 was the second regular playout of the tournament for the national soccer teams of Polynesia and took place in September 1998 in Rarotonga on the Cook Islands. It served at the same time as a qualification for Polynesia for the Soccer Oceania Championship 1998. The game was played in a simple league round everyone against everyone.
Tahiti and the Cook Islands qualified as top finishers in the Polynesia Cup for the 1998 Oceania Cup .
