Pom and Teddy is a Franco-Belgian comic strip drawn in a realistic style by François Craenhals .

Teddy grows up with Maggy as an orphan in a circus. His pet is a donkey, which he named Pom. The circus tours make them stop practically on every continent where they get caught up in all sorts of dangerous adventures. In all situations you can count on the strong animal keeper Taras Bulba.

François Craenhals was responsible for the text and drawings of the adventure series. In 1959 André Fernez provided the text for two episodes. The series appeared between 1953 and 1968 in the Belgian and from 1954 to 1986 in the French edition of Tintin . Some short stories came out in Tintin Sélection and Super Tintin . Le Lombard began publishing albums in 1956, which was continued in 1977 by the publisher Michel Deligne and in 1980 by Bédéscope. The 2012 complete edition came from BD Must. Feest published the first story in the Adventure Classics series in the German-speaking region .
