Guillermo Pomi

Guillermo José Pomi Barriola (* 1956 or 1957 ) is a Uruguayan diplomat and economist .

Guillermo Pomi successfully studied economics with a focus on finance ("Economía Financiera"). He also holds a Maitre en Sciences Economiques and a Master of Arts in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain . Pomi was the Uruguayan Ambassador to South Africa from 2005 to 2010. After the Senate had approved unanimously on April 13, 2010, Pomi was finally appointed Uruguayan ambassador to Argentina on April 26, 2010 as the successor to Francisco Bustillo .
