Pont del Diable

The Pont del Diable , Spanish Puente del Diablo (Devil's Bridge), is a medieval bridge over the Cardener River in Cardona in Catalonia ( Spain ), which was built in the 15th century. The bridge has been a protected architectural monument since 1962 .

History and description

The Devil's Bridge is first mentioned in 1424. The Gothic- style bridge, which is no longer usable today, has five arches with different spans. It was made from ashlar.
