Ponta Baleia ( Portuguese for "whale tip") is a headland and a settlement in the south of the Caué district on the island of São Tomé in São Tomé and Príncipe . In 2013, 43 residents were given.

The place is located 1.5 km east of Porto Alegre and 2 km southeast of Vila Malanza . The headland includes the bay of Porto Alegre. It is supported by the EN No. 2 developed. A ferry runs from Ponta Baleia to Ilhéu das Rolas . The ferry pier (Ancoradouro Para Barcos Para Ilheú Das Rolas) is on the west coast of the headland, facing the bay. The east coast drops very steeply into the sea, at the southeast tip of the headland the small town of Ponta Haleina is still recorded. The headland rises very quickly to about 100 m . For Henrique , almost in the interior, it reaches up to more than 160 m height ( ⊙ ).
