The Roman bridge Ponte de Rubiães spans the Rio Coura. The place Rubiães is on the N201 from Valença to Ponte de Lima on the northern border of Portugal . The bridge has a larger central arch and two small lateral ones. In front of the pillars protective breakers have been erected. The road rises towards the middle. The old paving is partially, the parapet is well preserved. Although renewed several times, the bridge is still considered Roman .
