Porous is a German band from Berlin . Since 2000 they have been playing in the lineup named opposite. The band originally comes from Neubrandenburg .

Band history

Porous recorded their first album ("Day my Friend") in 2003 at the Lakeside Studio Harnekop with Dirk Burke . He also worked with Mariannenplatz , among others . The second album, which was released in 2008, was recorded in the Radio Büllebrück Studio with Tobias Siebert .

Porous toured with Fotos and Virginia Jetzt! . They played as support with The Libertines , Buffseed , Seafood , Readymade , The Electric Club , Crash Tokyo and Samba, among others . In autumn 2004 Porous toured Spain .

Porous cover the title “Waiting for that Day” by George Michael on their album “Day my Friend” . The song contains a quote from the Rolling Stones : "You can't always get what you want". There is a remix of this cover version that is published as a hidden track on “Day my Friend”.
