Porte du Diable

The Porte du Diable ( German  Devil's Gate ) near Saint-Julien-en-Vercors in the canton of La Chapelle-en-Vercors ( Arrondissement Die , Département Drôme , France ) is a natural rock gate in a limestone wall about 10 meters clear height . It lies on the edge of the plateau from Saint Julien to the Gorges de la Bourne . A hiking trail, which is part of a circular route, leads through the gate.

The path is accessible all year round, but not handicapped accessible . It is marked with yellow-green markings from the church of Saint Julien.
