Porto Germeno ( Greek Πόρτο Γερμενό ( n. Sg. )) Is a Greek place on the Alkionidic Gulf, a bay in the northeast of the Gulf of Corinth . Today the place is officially named Egosthena after the ancient city that was there. The place belongs to the municipality of Vilia in the town of Mandra-Idyllia in West Attica .

In Porto Germeno are the ruins of Aigosthena , with one of the best preserved city walls from the classical period . There are also two important churches from the 12th century to see. Despite these sights and the direct beach location, there is only a modest tourism in Porto Germeno with a few guest houses.
