Post books
As post Büchel be New Year gifts referred to the Vienna postman their customers in anticipation of a Tipped presented. The first appeared in 1701, written by Johann Jordan. From 1914 to 1918 war mail books appeared. From 1921 to 1928 the Postbüchel was banned by the postal union because it was believed that the "New Year's begging" were unworthy of a civil servant. From 1938 to 1953 there were no mail books either.
