Posti Group is a Finnish company whose operations are divided into four different business areas: Postal Services (postal services), Parcel and Logistics Services (parcel and logistics services), Itella Russia (Itella Russia) and OpusCapita (until 2019). The Finnish state owns all company shares. Posti Oy has a universal service obligation in Finland, which includes mail and parcel services on weekdays in all Finnish municipalities. From 2007 to the end of 2014 the group performed under the name Itella .

In 2013 Posti's turnover was 1977 million euros. Posti serves its customers with 26,000 specialists and can look back on almost 400 years of history. 96 percent of sales come from companies and associations. The most important lines of business are trade, services and media. Åland Post is an independent postal administration that operates in the Åland Province .

In 2019, the OpusCapita division was sold to the investor Providence Equity Ltd.

Posti's headquarters are in North Pasila, Helsinki. Posti's operations are divided into four business areas. Heikki Malinen is the managing director of the group and Arto Hiltunen is the chairman of the board. In 2013, an average of 27,253 people were employed by the group. The company has offices in eleven countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Finland, Denmark, Russia and Estonia).

The Itella Information Logistics division offers services for processing, managing and distributing data flows in organizations. This includes the administration of invoice processes and supply chains as well as the processing of documents.

The area Itella Logistics Goods accepts transportation , distribution and storage of land, sea and air freight .

The third division, Itella Postal Services, is active in the transport and distribution of letters, direct mail and parcels as well as newspapers and magazines. It offers daily postal services throughout Finland under the Posti brand and also produces all postage stamps issued in Finland.
