The Ziegelsee is a lake in the Duchy of Lauenburg in the German state Schleswig-Holstein in the city of Mölln . It is about 36 hectares and up to 6.4 m deep. The Ziegelsee is cut by the Elbe-Lübeck Canal , which leads past Mölln to the west.
The neighboring city lake to the east was part of the Ziegelsee until the embankment of the Lübeck-Büchener Railway was filled.
