Former Royal Postal Savings Bank in Budapest

The former Royal Postal Savings Bank ( Postatakarékpénztár in Hungarian ) is a building at Hold utca 4 in the 5th district of Budapest . The house was built from 1899 to 1902 according to plans by the architect Ödön Lechner . In accordance with Lechner's style, there are Art Nouveau and ornaments from Hungarian folk art. The building is owned by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank . Today the Hungarian State Treasury ( Magyar Államkincstár ) is located there .
