Poul Rosenørn
Poul Rosenørn (born January 25, 1670 - † November 27, 1737 ) was a Danish major general and landlord.
Poul Rosenørn was born in 1670 as the third of six children of Peder Madsen Rosenørn and Anne Christophersdatter Rosenørns. Rosenørn was the owner of Tvilumgård, Meilgård and Katholm. In 1694 he became corporal, 1696 second lieutenant, 1698 captain, 1708 major, 1713 lieutenant colonel. During the conquest of Marstrand in 1719 he became a colonel.
Because the owner Palle Krag and his wife died childless, Rosenørn bought Katholm Castle on a campaign in 1724. In 1733 he became a brigadier and on January 13, 1734 major general .
