The Poulton Peak is a mountain summit in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It is the highest point of a rocky mountain ridge in the northeastern part of the Blånabbane .
The summit served as an unnamed station for trigonometric surveys as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1965 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Michael Alexander Poulton, who worked as a weather observer at Mawson Station in 1965 .
