Pounding grooves
Lawrence Dunster , better known by his pseudonym Pounding Grooves , is a London techno artist . He also published under a few other names such as Lawrie Immersion or Crusty Mills .
Dunster's music career began at the age of 16 as a guitarist and songwriter in several bands with which he toured across Europe. But he turned more and more to electronic music and released his first techno records in the mid-90s. The success of his publications made him a DJ and live act in demand worldwide.
Dunster has already released over 150 records, both on his own labels Pounding Grooves , Routemaster Records , Patten Play , Fresh Grind , Shark and Fukt , but also on numerous others such as Fine Audio Recordings , Planet Rhythm , Tortured , CLR , Countdown 2000 , TechnoPassion , SUF , Subvert , Max / Min , Hydraulix , Smitten or Compressed . He made remixes for well-known artists such as DJ Rush , Michael Burkat, Digital Primate, DAVE The Drummer or Steve Stoll .
In 2000 he founded the mastering studio Curve Pusher and a year later the vinyl press shop Curved Pressings .
