Sigrid Wulsch
Sigrid Wulsch ( Sigrid Elisabeth Wulsch ; born September 30, 1953 in Menden ) is a former German long-distance runner .
In 1988 she won the Paderborn Easter run over 10 kilometers, was sixth overall in the Hamburg Marathon in the German Marathon Championship and third in the Tiberias Marathon . At the IAAF World Cup marathon in 1989, she did not reach the goal.
In 1991 she became German marathon champion in Oelde. In 1992 she finished sixth and 1993 second in the Frankfurt Marathon , and in 1994 she came fifth in the Hamburg Marathon . She won the New Year's Eve run from Werl to Soest seven times, making her the “queen” of this run.
The 1.66 m tall and 49 kg athlete joined the Menden Marathon Club in 2010, where she is active as a trainer in the junior division and as a board member.
