Povilas Jakučionis
Povilas Jakučionis (born February 4, 1932 in Pajiesys , Kaunas Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
biography
After graduating from secondary school, he graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas with a degree in civil engineering in 1961 . He then did a doctorate in architecture . From 1961 to 1974 he worked as an architect in Švenčionys and from 1974 to 1992 at the Institute for Projects in Collective Buildings . From 1992 to 1996 and from 2000 to 2008 he was a member of the Seimas . From 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the Vilnius City Council .
From 1989 he was a member of the Lietuvos politinių kalinių ir tremtinių sąjunga , from 1999 of the Tėvynės sąjunga .
He is married to Ms. Teklė and has two children with her.
