Povilas Vadopalas
Povilas Vadopalas (* 25. July 1945 in Aukštuoliai , pasvalys district municipality , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of Panevėžys .
Life
After graduating from the Pasvalys Middle School in 1964 , he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Political Engineering in 1972 and became a radio engineer. From 1964 to 1967 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1982 to 1991 he worked in the Kupiškis district , from 1991 to 1998 he had his own sole proprietorship . From 2007 to 2008 he was deputy mayor of Panevėžys, from 2008 to 2010 and from 2011 mayor of Panevėžys.
From 1988 he was a member of Sąjūdis , from 1995 of LSDP .
