Power Station ( Chinese  動力火車  /  动力火车 , Pinyin Dònglì Huǒchē ) is a Taiwanese rock band, the protagonists of which are singers and guitarists Yen Chih-lin and You Chiu-hsing. They come from the southern Taiwanese district of Pingtung and belong to the indigenous Paiwan tribe . Their music and style are sometimes reminiscent of Western heavy metal music. Yen Chih-lin built his house with his own hands and worked as a poorly paid optometrist for a long time before he became a musician. You Chiu-hsing was a construction worker and began his musical career when his mother gave him a guitar.

Power Station has been performing since 1997 and was discovered by a label while playing in a pub. With their long hair, the musicians stand out from the mainstream of Taiwanese pop music.

In 2001, Power Station released their first album, Walking along Jhonghsiao East Street Nine Times , on the Grand Music record label (later known as HIM International Music). One of her greatest successes was the theme song, a Chinese version of the piece Takie Tango by Budka Suflera from 1997. It won the silver award in the selection of the "Best Chinese Language Songs in 2001" by Radio Television Hong Kong . On March 29, 2013, the last album Light was released .
