Powerglove is an American metal band that plays melodies from video game classics. The band named themselves after the Power Glove , a data glove for the NES . So far the band has released the EP "Total Pwnage" and the three albums "Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man", "Saturday Morning Apocalypse" and "TV Game Metal". The band doesn't record in the studio, but in different locations and then mixes in the home studio. In May 2008 they started their first US tour with the bands Psychostick and Look What I Did . During this tour, DragonForce guitarist Herman Li invited the band to open up in Portland, Oregon. After this performance the band was invited to take part in the “Ultra Beatdown” America and Canada tour together with Dragonforce and the Finnish metal band Turisas , which took place in November and December 2008. Then the band began to work on their third album ("Saturday Morning Apocalypse").
