The Préfecture is a district in Lyon in the 3rd arrondissement . It is located between the banks of the Rhone , the districts of Moncey , La Part-Dieu and the Cours Lafayette .

The district is located around the administrative building of the prefecture of the Rhône department on the Cours de la Liberté .
