Pranciškus Tupikas
Pranciškus Tupikas (born January 2, 1929 in Papilė , Akmenė district ; † July 16, 2015 ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in Viekšniai in the district of Mažeikiai , Tupikas completed his diploma studies at the Kūno kultūros institutas in Kaunas and then worked as a teacher and school director, head of the education department in Naujoji Akmenė and Vilnius . He took part in the work at Sąjūdis and became a member of the Seimas , selected in the Karoliniškės constituency of the Lithuanian capital. From 1996 he lived in the United States and from 2010 back in Lithuania .
Tupika's wife died in 1989, with whom he had a daughter.
