Praslin Island is a small uninhabited island off the east coast of the island state of St. Lucia .
geography
The island is located in Praslin Bay only about 250 m from a headland that extends into the center of the bay. The island belongs to a reef that separates the southern part of Praslin Bay from the sea and continues in the southern headland. The shape of the island is roughly oval.
