Pravat Pattabongse

Pravat Pattabongse ( Thai : ประวัติ ปั ต ต พงศ์ ; * 1903 ; † June 21, 1972 ) was a Thai badminton player , coach and official. Pratuang Pattabongse is his niece.

Career

Pravat Pattabongse is considered to be the founder of badminton in Thailand. In 1924, along with two Thai teammates, he was the first Asian to take part in the All England . After his active career he was active as a coach and functionary and became chairman of the Supreme Court in Thailand.
