Premio Mario Rigoni star

The Premio Mario Rigoni Stern per la letteratura multilingua delle Alpi, known for short as the Premio Mario Rigoni Stern , is an Italian literary prize awarded annually since 2011 . It is named after the Italian writer Mario Rigoni Stern who died in 2008 .

The prize is awarded by the “Ars Venandi” association in Asiago together with the Autonomous Province of Trento , the Veneto region and the municipalities of Asiago and Riva del Garda . The award will be given to literary stories and non-fiction works on topics from traditional Alpine cultural and social history.

The prize is open to authors from all languages ​​represented in the Alpine region. It is associated with prize money of 5,000 euros.
