Press and information staff of the Federal Ministry of Defense
The press and information staff of the Federal Ministry of Defense (PrInfoStab) is responsible for the press and public relations work of the ministry as well as for the armed forces' own media. He is led by the head of the press and information staff and spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Christian Thiels. He is supported by a military deputy with the rank of colonel or sea captain . He also heads Unit 1 Press. The press spokesmen are all in the rank of lieutenant colonel / chief medical officer or frigate captain / flotilla doctor .

- Unit 1 Press: Press
