Preston Carrington
Preston Carrington ( Preston Morrand Carrington; born June 12, 1949 in Topeka , Kansas ) is a former American long jumper .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he managed to qualify with his personal record of 8.22 m, the second best distance behind his compatriot Randy Williams (8.34 m). While Williams won the final with 8.24 m, Carrington was fifth with 7.99 m.
