PrettyPrint

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

PrettyPrint is a function of some graphical pocket calculators from Texas Instruments that allows a "real" representation of mathematical functions, so that, for example, fractions can actually be displayed as two numbers on top of each other.

Prettyprint can be activated on every calculator that supports it (e.g. TI-89 , TI-92 , TI-92Plus, Voyage 200 , TI-Nspire ) in the system settings (TI-Nspire) or via the MODEmenu. and turn off. The TI-84 Plus has supported PrettyPrint since version 2.53MP of the operating system, but here the function is called MathPrint .

On some computers, such as the TI-89 or TI-92, invoices must still be entered in the linear format ( ) - in contrast to certain other scientific pocket calculators, such as the Casio fx-991ES , on which both the output and the Input in "real" format is possible, here the function is called Natural Textbook Format . On the TI-Nspire and the TI-30 Multi View, however, entries are also made in PrettyPrint. Also MathPrint on TI-84 calculators from OS 2.53MP allows input in this format. However, this affects the performance.
