Preview - Das Kinomagazin is a weekly cinema program that is broadcast on several television channels in Austria. In the program, current films and new DVD / BluRay releases are presented. In addition, there are current cinema charts and a “sneak preview”, ie the outlook on an upcoming film. The program has been running on VIVA Austria since April 10, 2014 with a slightly adapted program design under the name VIVA Movie Preview.

Current cinema films will be presented, including international productions as well as European or Austrian films. The program always has the same, standardized structure:
- six new screenings of films (duration: three minutes each); If more films are presented, a three-minute cycle is divided into two time cycles of 1:30 minutes each.

- DVD / BluRay tip (three minutes)
- Sneak preview
In addition, there is usually a competition in which DVDs and / or BluRays are raffled off. The special feature of this highly standardized structure is that the broadcasters also use individual contributions in other programs, for example W24 in “Guten Abend Wien”. Because the length of the posts is always the same, they are so easy to plan.
The program concentrates - according to its own definition - purely on the presentation of the movies. There is therefore no coverage of film screenings, no gossip, but film content, interviews with the relevant stars, making-of scenes, etc.
The program is not moderated in the traditional sense, the content is narrated by a speaker off-screen.
