Steiermark 1 was a regional television station from Styria that could be received via cable television and DVB-T .

history

The station was founded in the summer of 1996. A studio was built in the municipality of Dobl . Trial operation began on December 1, 1996. Since March 1, 1997, Steiermark 1 has been delivering daily programs via the federal state of Styria. In autumn 2002, Styria Medien AG took over the station, which was relocated to Graz and completely changed. Formats emerged like: Let's go , camera on , or people TV . In February 2007 the Kleine Zeitung began to cooperate with Styria 1. At this time, the Styria 1 website also went online.

The broadcaster filed for bankruptcy on November 28, 2013. The closure of the company was ordered on November 29, 2013.

Since then, the regional TV station for Styria Kanal3 has found its place on this slot .

reception

Styria 1 could be received via cable in Graz as well as in the Mur and Mürz valleys and also in the south and east of Graz. Since 2010, DVB-T (channel 29) has also been used in southwest Styria. The station could be received across Austria via A1TV.
