The Pribilof red- toothed shrew ( Sorex pribilofensis or S. hydrodromus ) is a species from the genus of the red- toothed shrew . Like the Saint Lawrence red-toothed shrew, it belongs to the endemic species of this genus; According to the current state of knowledge, their occurrence is limited to the island of St. Paul , which is one of the Pribilof Islands in the Bering Sea . Because of its northern habitat, it is one of the few insectivores that are part of the Arctic fauna .
The body length of the Pribilof red-toothed shrew, including the tail, is only 88 to 97 millimeters. Their weight is between three and four grams. Their body and tail tops are brown. The underside of the body and tail, however, are significantly lighter.
