Primum Familiae Vini

Primum Familiae Vini (often abbreviated to PFV , German: First (leading) families of wine ) is an association of a maximum of 12 international wineries based in Vilafranca del Penedès , Spain. The association was founded in 1993 by Miguel Torres and Robert Drouhin with the aim of pooling and exchanging the knowledge of the best winemakers in the world. According to the articles of association, membership requires that you own your own wineries, that you are one of the best winemakers in the respective growing region and that you enjoy high international status. Furthermore, all members must agree to be admitted.
