Privilege (discotheque)
The Privilege club disco ("Ku" until 1994) is the largest disco in the world.
The Privilege is located on the Spanish island of Ibiza near the town of Sant Rafel . The discotheque was initially opened as an open-air discotheque and is now a closed complex. The highlight is a swimming pool in which the DJ resides on an island. In the 1970s and 1980s, the Privilege was still called Ku and was a meeting place for the international jet set . The Privilege is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest club in the world.
In the summer season, depending on the program, up to 10,000 guests can be expected. The other parties are also very well attended, but not all floors are always open. The Privilege has a capacity of 14,000 people. The Amnesia disco is also in the vicinity .
In the Privilege you will mainly find the events that are already known in Great Britain, including Manumission, Renaissance and others; but also parties from organizers from other countries. The events change from year to year, but the big organizers mostly stay the same, as a company of this size requires a secure financial background.
