Prix Sang d'encre
The Prix Sang d'encre ( German : "Ink Blood Prize" ) is a French literary prize that has been awarded annually since 1995 at the Sang d'encre crime festival in Vienne (Isère) . The award is given for the best French-language novel by a crime writer (Grand Prix), which was published in the last twelve months of the previous edition of the crime festival (from July of the previous year to June).
The winner is determined by a ten-person jury headed by a president, the previous year's winner. In the event of a tie, the additional vote of the jury president is decisive for the award of the award. A trip abroad is awarded as the prize. Well-known names such as Jean-Claude Izzo , Prix Mystère de la critique prize- winner Claude Amoz and Jean-Hugues Oppel , winner of the 1996 Grand prix de littérature policière , are among the honored authors .
In addition to the Grand Prix, the Prix Sang d'encre des Lycéens (crime prize of the local high school), the Prix Gouttes de Sang D'encre (reader award) and the one in collaboration with the Festival de la Bulle d'Or are also presented separately as part of the crime festival Prix Bulle de Sang d'encre initiated by Brignais .

In 2001, in addition to the regular prize winner, a special award was given to Georges-Jean Arnaud , which honored his life's work.
