Product Integraph
The Product Integraph was a mechanical analog computer for solving differential equations of the first order. It was developed by Vannevar Bush , FG Kear, HL Hazen, HR Stewart and FD Gage at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 1923 and 1927 .
The developer Vannevar Bush described it as an “electrical machine that thinks for itself. As a 'human brain', the integraph surpasses human logical thinking in its ability to answer mathematical problems whose solution is too complex for the human brain ”.
