history

The Friedrichstadt office was created in the course of the Schleswig-Holstein district reform in 1970/74. With effect from April 26, 1970, the former districts of Eiderstedt, Südtondern and Husum dissolved and became part of North Friesland. The communities Seeth and Drage , which had previously belonged to the Schleswig district, as well as the city of Friedrichstadt were affiliated to this newly formed district . From these communities and the communities Koldenbüttel, Witzwort and Uelvesbüll of the former Eiderstedt district , the Friedrichstadt office was formed.

As part of the reform of administrative structures, the Office Friedrichstadt sparked the end of 31 December 2007, and local governments (excluding the city of Frederick City ) formed with the municipalities of offices Hattstedt , north beach and Treene the Nordsee-Treene .
