Product finisher textile
The textile product finisher is a state-recognized training occupation in Germany under the Vocational Training Act .
Duration of training and structure
The training period to become a textile product finisher is usually three years. The training takes place at the training company and vocational school .
Work areas
Textile product finishers are responsible for textile finishing within textile production . In the course of producing textiles, they set up the production machines for finishing, check the process parameters and carry out quality assurance (fabric inspection). They ensure that the textiles are processed at the fiber level according to the desired properties. To do this, they select suitable recipes and batch calculations, check and optimize recipes and change the product properties by controlling and regulating the machines and systems.
