Programmable system device
Programmable system device (PSD, dt. About programmable system component ) was the name of a series of integrated circuits for use in microprocessor circuits of the company STMicroelectronics . The series of modules was discontinued by the manufacturer.
PSDs are typically combined with a microprocessor or controller to expand their functionality for smaller applications such as embedded systems . The following functions are combined on one chip: static main memory (SRAM), flash memory and an FPGA with which, for example, address decoders and input / output functions can be implemented. The blocks can in the system by means of JTAG - interface can be programmed / configured.
