Provodínské Kameny
Provodínské Kameny (German: Mikenhahner Steine ) is the name given to a group of striking mountains southeast of Česká Lípa in northern Bohemia ( Czech Republic ). They got their name from the nearby municipality of Provodín ( Mikenhahn ).

geology
The mountains of the Provodínské Kameny represent volcanic chimneys of tertiary volcanism in northern Bohemia that were modeled by the erosion . Except for the Dlouhý vrch, which consists of phonolite , all other mountains are made of basalt . The shape of the former basalt breakthrough can be seen particularly well on Lysá Skalá.
