Prudence
Prudence was a rock band from Namsos ( Norway ), which consisted of Åge Aleksandersen , Terje Tysland , Johan Tangen , Kjell Ove Riseth , Kaare Skevik and Per Erik Wallum . Frode Viken , later known from the band DDE , was the bass player for a while. The band changed their name from Whoopee Choop in 1969 and created the term "Trønderrock". The band was heavily inspired by international greats such as The Beatles , Bob Dylan and The Band . The band was named after the Beatless song Dear Prudence from the White Album (song No. 2). Six years later the band broke up. Terje Tysland later started a solo career.
Sawmill , Mild Gray Fog , Freezing , 14 Pages , Tomorrow May Be Vanished and Æ e trønder æ are the band's most famous songs.
