The Prva futsal league Srbije ( Serbian - Cyrillic Прва футсал лига Србије ; Serbian for "First Futsal League Serbia"), even Прва лига Србије у малом фудбалу - Prva liga Srbije u malom fudbalu called ( "First League of Serbia in small football"), is the highest league in Serbian futsal , which is actually called Mali fudbal ("little football").
Serbian futsal clubs previously played in the highest futsal league of socialist Yugoslavia , which was founded in 1988 and lasted until 1992. After the collapse of socialist Yugoslavia in 1992, a new Yugoslavia was founded, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia , which consisted of the republics of Serbia and Montenegro . She kept the name of Yugoslavia until 2003 when the country changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro . This union lasted until 2006, so that Montenegro formed its own league after the independence of both republics. Since then it has been a competition exclusively for teams from Serbia, because within the organization the Fudbalski savez Srbije (FSS), the Serbian Football Association, has succeeded the Yugoslav Football Association.
The record winner with six championships is the KMF Ekonomac from the city of Kragujevac .
